In the sector of material and process for energy and environment, LABOR specializes in process development and control for wastewater treatment, biofermentation and reforming for biofuel and biohydrogen production, production of nanoparticles for hydrogen production and storage.

The structure and competences allow to carry out in these sectors complete services, from feasibility to design, pilot prototyping and testing.

Moreover, in cooperation with the Process Engineering Dept. of the University "La Sapienza" of Rome, LABOR is carryng out research on nanoparticles production through spinning disk reactors. In particular, the target applications are ceramic nanomaterials for biomedical, functional depositions, energy production.

The laboratory of material and processes is is equipped with an area for chemical analysis and instrumentation, an area for pilot plants testing and an area for the testing hydrogen technologies.
